General Description: Provides essential analytical services (e.g. financial modeling, loan document preparation, financial due diligence, etc.) to the department with respect to the credit analysis of project finance transactions being evaluated for NADB financing.
Duties and Responsibilities:  Prepares and/or oversees the development of complex financial models. Oversees the drafting of loan documents. Provides and/or oversees sector analysis and research. Leads the credit analysis of major equipment suppliers, EPC contractors, off-takers, and other entities. Liaises with clients in connection with the development and closing of NADB loans. Meets with potential new clients in order to screen projects to be considered for NADB financing. Maintains relationships with key clients, equipment manufacturers, and other service providers. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or a related discipline with four years of experience. Master’s Degree preferred. Excellent written and spoken communications skills. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Project Finance financial modeling skills specifically related to energy assets. Deep knowledge of renewable energy industry. Proficient in written and oral English. Spanish a plus.
Success Factors Highly skilled in the use of word processing, spreadsheets and presentations software, with particular skills in complex financial modeling. Ability to learn quickly and master an industry or sector rapidly. Ability to multi-task.
